The Selfreliance Foundation in support of St. John the Baptist UCC in Whippany, NJ
There is a long-standing cooperative relationship between our community’s financial institution and the parishes that are so important in maintaining our Ukrainian heritage. The Selfreliance Foundation of Selfreliance Federal Credit Union provides donations during the Easter season to Ukrainian Churches in the areas where it has branch offices.
This year, in recognition of the increased financial burden incurred by our Ukrainian Churches as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Selfreliance Foundation provided funds to Ukrainian Churches in our service area with which it has an ongoing community relationship.
In turn, The Selfreliance Foundation is asking organizations that receive funding from The Selfreliance Foundation to encourage their members to take advantage of the many affordable financial services offered by the credit union. Without the continuing participation of its members, the credit union would not be profitable – and would not be able to provide funds to The Selfreliance Foundation so it can, in turn, assist the Ukrainian organizations that are so important to its members and the community as a whole.

Щороку Фундація “Самопоміч” Української Федеральної Кредитової Спілки “Самопоміч” вручає святочний “дар любови“ українським церквам з нагоди Великодніх свят.
Цього року, знаючи що всі установи терплять з причини карантину, коли вірні не взмозі відвідувати свою Церкву на Богослуження, Фундація виділила пожертви українським церквам у місцевостях, де знаходяться філії Кредитівки.
Одночасно Фундація “Самопоміч” нагадала церквам, щоб вони заохочували своїх парафіян ставати активними членами Кредитівки “Самопоміч” та користатися з її фінансових послуг, адже тільки тоді Кредитівка зможе бути прибутковою і виділяти кошти Фундації, щоб вона у свою чергу вручала датки церквам та іншим установам, що такі важливі українській громаді.
Українська Католицька Церква св. Івана Хрестителя у Виппані, Нью Джерзі отримала від Фундації “Самопоміч” пожертву на церкву.
