Selfreliance FCU representatives attend parish feast day celebrations at Ukrainian Churches in New Jersey
On Sunday, June 25th both St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Newark, New Jersey and St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Whippany celebrated their Parish feast day – the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. After the Divine Liturgy, a luncheon was served and entertainment was provided.
Representatives of Selfreliance Federal Credit Union’s New Jersey branch offices joined the parishioners at their celebrations. Following the Divine Liturgy, parishioners and guests gathered for a celebratory luncheon in the church hall in Newark and at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey.
At Selfreliance, our commitment goes beyond providing financial services. We are passionate about actively engaging with and supporting our community, building a strong bond of togetherness. Selfreliance FCU issued donations to the parishes on the occasion of their feast day.

У неділю 25 червня 2023 року Українські Католицькі парафії св. Івана Хрестителя у містах Виппані та Нюарку, Нью Джерзі, відзначили парафіяльне свято. Після торжественного Богослуження, парафіяни і гості зібралися на святковий обід-прийняття. Представники УФКС “Самопоміч” були присутні на цих святах, адже Кредитівка допомагає і співпрацює з церквами, де члени Кредитівки є парафіянами.

На другій світлині, о. Степан Білик, настоятель церкви св. Івана Хрестителя у Виппані держить чек від Кредитівки, вручений Михайлом Козюпою, членом Дорадчої Ради філій “Самопомочі” в Нью Джерзі.
