Hudson County NJ Stands with Ukraine
At the initiative of Commissioner Yraida Aponte-Lipski of Hudson County, N.J., a Stand with Ukraine fundraising event was held March 31, 2022 at the Ukrainian National Home in Jersey City. The evening included a traditional Ukrainian buffet, live piano music, a Ukrainian bandura performance, Shevchenko poetry reading and presentations about Ukrainian history and the war being waged by Russia against Ukraine. The event was organized to raise money, awareness and support for Ukraine.
Selfreliance FCU made a donation in support of Ukraine at the event. 31 березня 2022 року, за ініціятивою Commissioner Yraida Aponte-Lipski of Hudson County, N.J відбувся вечір-бенефіс на гуманітарну допомогу Україні в Українському Національному Домі в Джерзі Ситі. Для гостей приготовлений смачний буфет, музиканти розважали їх грою на фортепіяні та бандурі, та деклямацією поезії Тараса Шевченка. Прозвучали також презентації про історію і сучасні трагічні події в Україні. УФКС “Самопоміч” склала пожертву на допомогу Україні під час вечора. На світлині, зліва, представники “Самопомочі” з директором УНДому.
