The FACT Act gives all consumers the right to obtain one free credit report from each of the three credit bureaus agencies once a year. This means you can obtain a free copy of your credit report every four months, if you keep track of which credit bureau you select. For example, select TransUnion in January, Experian in May, and Equifax in October. You can repeat this pattern each year.
