Selfreliance FCU proudly supports the young parishioners of our Ukrainian Churches
Selfreliance Federal Credit Union has always maintained a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with our Ukrainian Diaspora religious communities. Parishioners of Ukrainian churches are credit union members, and their children are our future members. Selfreliance FCU staff and management participate in parish activities.
Shown in the photos below are children receiving the sacrament of their First Holy Confession at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Newark, New Jersey.
In the first photo, the children are displaying their Holy Communion gifts. Standing in the second row are: Andrij Hrechak, NJ Advisory Board member; Irene Agne, Newark Branch Manager and NJ Advisory Board Secretary; Natalka Kudryk, Catechism teacher; and Father Taras Svirchuk, Pastor of St. John the Baptist UCC in Newark.
In the second photo, Andrij Hrechak and Irene Agne are distributing Holy Communion gifts (deposit certificates and chocolate lollies) from Selfreliance FCU.
